Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
Terrible Hotel. 27 degrees in the bedroom (15 outside). Impossible to open window, its stuck. Carbon monoxide levels are in the morning above the range of the meter, 1500 (1000 is the threshold for healthy environment).
Restaurant adverts chicken stew, but is closed 30 min later (1930). Overprized meny in the restaurant.
Spend your money elsewhere.

I have selected this hotel because I was staying there couple of years ago. My overall impression was very good. Tasty breakfast, helpful and polite staff. My request for the earlier check-in was accepted. Safe and spacious underground parking. Close to shops, restaurants and castle.

The breakfast was excellent with many choices to enjoy
I liked the location. The staff were friendly. The photos on booking.com suggested something that wasn't really there. I can't remember exactly what was said at the check in but the check out was interesting. The reception desk was closed. We left the keys in the room. It was easy enough but unexpected and relied on us guessing the process.
The hotel was good, no complaints but as I said, not what I expected given the photos. Other times when I have stayed in old hotels, there is an element of the old-world charm and facilities. This was lacking but there was nothing really wrong with the hotel itself, it was simply my expectation based on what I saw in booking.com.

The town was quite cultural, with its huge and historically significant castle, and outdoor museum of wooden buildings - but the indoor museum is currently undergoing a year long refurbishment and so inaccessible. The town is also quite pretty, particularly along the river. For shoppers there is a good selection of stores, as well as cafes and restaurants. Like all of Sweden it will be found expensive by non Scandinavians. We arrived by rail, which is a good way to travel, though the station is a little way from the town centre.

Örebro is a charming little town that could easily be done in a day. There are at most three attractions to really see in the city. Nevertheless, if you want to get away from Stockholm or Uppsala, it is perfect. You will enjoy walking around the city and its parks.

Örebro is a very beautiful, nice and cosy city.
Örebro is a very beautiful, nice and cosy city. Just enjoyed walking for hours in it's streets and explore! There are a lot of attractions - impressive castle with great history and ducks enjoying tourists company, stunning gothic cathedral Olaus Petri kyrka with it's old graveyard, green Stadsparken (by Svarton river) full of flowers and lovely places to relax, Wadkoping Open Air Museum with it's atmospere of old days, lovely butics with souvenirs and coffe shops, famous water tower Svampen looks like a giant white mushroom, and just nice city streets with friendly people... whole lotta things to photograph!
Many local buses - around the city and the surrounding area - which are convenient to move around. Hemkop on Fredsgatan is good place to buy food; in Pressbyrån one can buy not only food and magazines, but bus tickets as well.
Absolutely great city to spend a week and relax! Got the best experiences and strong intention to come back next year!
Everyday there was a breakfast available in the dining area. A great choice of the usual morning products (flakes, eggs, bread, vegetables) which were regularly restocked.
In the afternoons and the evenings there were thermoses provided with both hot water and coffee. You could also use a kettle and brew yourself a tea - with many flavours to choose from.
The room looked remarkable. It was very stylish, yet neat and clean.
The hotel is located just between the train station and the castle. There is a general store downstairs (Hemköp).
The location was excellent. It was right next to the city center of Orebro and close to restaurants, shops, and activities. It was easy for family to meet us here. The breakfast had many choices and the times were very convenient. Appreciated the coffee machine as well as drip coffee. The staff were very friendly and approachable and made us feel so comfortable here. I would definitely want to stay here again.
For the price this place was what I needed: a dry bed on a cross country drive. Part of why I selected this place was that I could check in late, which was a plus. Some reviews mentioned a similarity to the Overlook Hotel from Stephen King's The Shining and I can see the similarity, but with the right attitude staying here will have made for a good story and an interesting memory. The staff were polite.
This hotel is at one end of the train and bus station, so is most convenient for the traveller using public transport. Double glazed windows block the noise. The proportions of my tastefully decorated room were generous. Soaring ceilings add to the sense of space and luxury.
The staff were very happy, kind and helpful.
A very pleasant and nicely furbished cottage. It is less than ten minutes' walk from a lavish wood and about twenty minutes' walk from the town center of Örebro. We could use a well equipped kitchen, a supermarket nearby and we could park our car in the street at no cost (which is rare in Sweden).
Anna was exceptionally accommodating during our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure everything we needed was taken care of. The house is cozy and clean. The bed was more comfortable than even hotels we stayed at during the rest of our travels. The new sauna was a perfect way to relax.
The hotel is in a beautiful historical building right next to Örebro castle.
The staff was very friendly and service minded and the food that was included in the price was tasty: a nice ’fika’, a nice diner and a good breakfast. All of this at a very reasonable price.
fantastic location at the water, the fort and beautiful, old buildings. The hotel has two meals plus tea time in the afternoon. excellent food, great breakfast, home baked breads.
Everything in the room was in high quality, bed, shower.
Would love to come back.
Location: can't ask for better location than this in Orebro.
The flimstaden is just across the road, we used the opportunity to watch a late night movie.
Multiple restaurant options around the hotel.
Breakfast was good with many options.
Very nice and comfortable place, everyone are pleasant and helpful, good breakfast with a lot of choices, comfortable bed with nice linen, good location, close to city center and free parking space, suitable to the price :)
Lovely little hotel very much in the centre of town. The staff was very friendly and professional and the hotel parking was spacious and cheap. Breakfast was good and the decor inside the hotel was nice and cosy.
Very central location! We booked the twin superior room for one night (Saturday). It was very spacious plus the beds were comfortable. The hotel building itself has nice historic charm.
