The city is very clean, full of activities. There are many historical castels. The sights along the Rhine and Mosel rivers are very beautiful. However, it is not easy to rent a bike and return it at another place. The Rhein Bike is a good example, yet there are too few such bikes and too few parking places. For the bike tour from Koblenz to another city in the nearby, this is rather inconvenient.

Koblenz is a bustling city situated where the Rhine and Mosel meet. The combined sightseeing tour of a 70-minute boat trip and a ride in the cable car to the castle for 24 Euros was good value. The old city is mostly pedestrianised, and there is an abundance of eating and drinking locations.

The old town is very charismatic and walkable.
The old town is very charismatic and walkable. Also there is a cable car which takes you to a castle on the opposite side of the river. One frustration, for us, was trying to find a German restaurant. Plenty of Italian and other nationalities, but very difficult to find a German restaurant in the Old Town area. Koblenz appears to be popular with river cruises and we believe offers day cruises "in season". We did find one "hidden gem" in the Old Town, Wirthaus am Huhnermarkt. Without a doubt, they serve the best Wiener Schnitzel we have ever had.

I have a lot of photos to share so other people don’t make the same mistake we did. On Entering the hotel we were horrified by the condition of it. I now understand why you only post what the rooms look like. It was filthy. I had an asthma attack almost straight away. The dues, cobwebs broken doors NOT TO MENTION THAT THE WINDOWS WHERE NAILED SO THEY CANNOT BE OPENED. IT IS A FIRE HAZARD WAITING TO HAPPEN AND THERE IS NO WAY OUT OTHER THEN THE FRONT DOOR. FIRST NIGHT WE STAYED ELSEWHERE DUE TO ME GETTING SICK , second NIGHT we spent the night at your Honeybee which was a disaster. YOUR HONEEBEE COST $ 2000 dollars and although we tried to contact the manager to place us else where HE CHOSE TO ONLY COMUNICATE IN GERMAN THEN TOTALLY IGNORED US AND DID NOT ANSWER HIS PHONE. WE BOOKED OURSELFS INTO ANOTHER HOTEL WHICH WAS LOVELY AND CLEAN. SO FAR WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY COMPASSION FOR OUR 10 days we were supposed to have stayed there. If any one wants to see photos of HOW BAD THIS PLACE IS I AM HAPPY TO SHAER. 🤬😱😢🥺😩📷
Amazing friendly staff. When he knew i was new in Germany he was supportive and welcoming. When I asked for directions he Gladly shared all needed information. The breakfast was great and wholesome, and to my surprise they even have HALAL salami and cold meat tray which is extremely rare to find here.
Also they have a little vending machine where you can take whatever you want at night and pay later which is wonderful and convenient when you crave something at night.
Absolutely it is a place I would visit again!
The hotel is located right next to the center of the city with bus stops almost directly in front of the door. It provides clean rooms with convenient non-essentials like a place to unpack your luggage and a wardrobe. The staff are very friendly and helpful also giving information on how to get to places of interest.
Great electronic system for check-in, doors opening ... (but , your mobile phone should be charged, when you coming back from town to property). Nice modern facilities inside - smart TV, monitor+keyboard+mouse, kitchenette... Clean room.
Location is perfect - near the old town ,even for shopping is good.
Nice hotel and a restaurant a bit further away from Koblenz center. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, it was a pleasure! Great albeit a bit slow-to-get-food restaurant, great wine as well (not their own, but local). Good breakfast buffet, nice private parking at the site.
Our room was large and clean. The shower was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is central - we could reach the old town by foot. The breakfast was classic German, although the choices were limited. The coffee was very good. Friendly and helpful staff.
Fantastic location. Close to old town. Really very beautiful river view. Excellent dinner. Friendly employees. Fast check in. Parking place in front of the hotel. Very tasty breakfast. Huge windows in the restauarant and breakfast room are a joy!
All good. Nice, cozy place, with welcoming staff, nice breakfast. Small room, precisely what I want. Close to the city center and to all important facilities in Koblenz. 5 minutes away from the train station.
The location was perfect, just a short walk to Deutsches Eck (German Corner), the cable-car and the old town. The room was a very good size, well appointed and well looked after. We had a very enjoyable stay.
The location was great, halfway been the main station and the old town. The room was spacious. The bathroom very modern. The WiFi worked well and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
Very quiet with comfortable bed and nice well equipped shared kitchen, convenient to Ehrenbreit fortress . Off the beaten track as it’s across the River from old town Koblenz.
Great location, not far from car parking, close to many restaurants and shops in the old town. Nice rooms, good shower. Friendly staff, great healthy food in the cafe.
